Contempt and Enforcement Proceedings

A party not complying with court orders

Contempt and Enforcement proceedings may be initiated in a family law case against a party who is not complying with a prior court order, you must file a motion with the court explaining what the party has failed to do.

This type of motion can be applied to a variety of issues such as, but not limited to, parenting plans, time-sharing, equitable distribution, child support payments, and alimony payments.

If need help deciding what to do in your family’s situation, please schedule a consultation to speak with our Family Law Attorney.
